I was referred to Natasha by my doctor for help with facial pigmentation. I was hoping for expert guidance, but left feeling disappointed. During my appointment I was left in the room while she took a personal phone call in her office arranging cleaning for her holiday home and workplace, and I could hear the entire conversation from the bed. It didn’t feel professional. When she examined the pigmentation, I mentioned it had changed. She immediately suggested taking a sample to test for cancer, saying she wouldn’t laser unless it was ruled out. I later received an unexpected pathology bill on top of the consult fee which hadn’t been explained to me beforehand. I then got a second opinion and was told the pigment she was worried about was melasma, not cancer. I was also told that a dermatologist should have been able to differentiate between the two without taking a sample, which made me feel the biopsy was unnecessary. After this experience, I didn’t proceed with further treatment. Overall I left feeling misled and out of pocket, and I wouldn’t recommend her for pigmentation concerns based on my experience.
