My consultation with Dr Cook was thorough and clearly explained what I would experience both during and post treatment. The aftercare I have received at the Face Bar has been amazing - Vittoria is always so helpful and caring. Worked with Vittoria for freckle removal and broken capillaries. She recommended q-switch and excel v and raised having to be careful with BBL/IPL because of my skin tone. She also immediately noticed that some of my spots weren't freckles at all, but were skin tags -- For that she recommended electrocautery. Really impressed with the attention to detail -- usually clinicians have either ignored the skin tags or couldn't tell the difference, but I know I have them as they're genetic and I've been having them treated every few years since I was a teenager. Pricing was really reasonable as well for what was effectively laser stacking to deal with multiple different issues.

I had the most amazing Hydrafacial with Carlie at The Face Bar. Carlie was warm, knowledgeable and incredibly attentive. She explained each step of the treatment clearly and tailored it perfectly to my skin. My skin felt deeply cleansed, hydrated and noticeably more radiant immediately after — that post-facial glow was unreal 🤩. Such a relaxing, results-driven experience. I’ll absolutely be back and couldn’t recommend Carlie more highly.

I recently had a ‘Deluxe HydraFacial’ here and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. I barely received a hello from the therapist, and there was no consultation form or proper skin assessment carried out prior to the treatment. I was only asked about my main concern before the treatment began with no response, no discussion around my skin type, sensitivity, or current skincare routine - which is something I have always experienced at other clinics. Manual extractions are a standard part of a HydraFacial, however these were not performed during my treatment until I questioned it after she said the treatment was over. Only after I raised this did the therapist, Vittoria, go back and carry them out - which should have been included and explained as part of the service from the beginning. The treatment itself also felt rushed. I had booked a 45-minute session, however it was completed in under 35 minutes prior to her going back and completing extractions. While I understand timings can vary slightly, combined with the lack of consultation it made the experience feel quite standardised rather than tailored. For the price, I found this to be poor value. I have had HydraFacials in many places around the world, and unfortunately this was by far the worst experience I have had. Overall, it lacked the level of care, attention, and personalisation I would expect from a professional clinic offering this treatment.
