I’ve been seeing Jacqueline for several months now and purposely waited before leaving a review so I could speak from my genuine experience. I’ve been on a redness and pigmentation journey I’m incredibly happy with the progress and results so far. I’ve had 3 rounds of IPL and 1 Laser Genesis treatment with Jacqueline. While IPL can feel a little uncomfortable, Jacqueline is gentle and reassuring so I always feel at ease in her care. I have withheld leaving a review but decided to finally write one. A few years ago (after one of the numerous COVID lockdowns) I had a second session of laser on my face for hair removal. The first session was great. The second session left me with a blister that has caused a small permanent scar on my chin. I was offered numerous complimentary treatments of Laser Genesis on the wound, which I took up. I was also offered microneedling on the wound, but turned it down as I was too nervous. I do appreciate how the situation was handled in a professional manner and the attempts made to improve the scarring. Since then, I've paid (at a dermatologist) to have CO2 laser — I was warned it would help the scar (which it did), but I would always be left with a scar. I would have been fine having a scar anywhere on my body, but your face is... your face! And it was an adjustment. Depending on what you're having done, how invasive it is, or how sensitive your skin is, I would encourage people to carefully consider the qualifications and medical expertise of the person performing the procedure, and whether a qualified dermatologist may be more appropriate for your circumstances.
